I'm Stephanie

I’m here to make sure you actually enjoy your own party. With 27 years of experience behind the bar, I’ve seen it all, poured it all, and learned exactly what makes an event unforgettable. I founded The Tipsy Sloth to bring professional and high energy bartending directly to your private event. As a dry hire bartending service, we handle the logistics, the tools, the mixers, and the expertise—you just provide your favorite alcohol. Whether you are hosting an intimate backyard gathering, a corporate celebration, or a milestone wedding, my mission is to take the weight off your shoulders. This is a starting estimate based on your selections. Final pricing is confirmed during your consultation. Per Pennsylvania state law, The Tipsy Sloth operates as a dry-hire bartending service — the client supplies all alcohol. Holiday weekend bookings are subject to a 15% peak-day surcharge; travel outside 30 miles of Bensalem incurs $2/mile.

Booking, Payment & Weather Policies

🥂 Alcohol & Licensing Compliance

Per Pennsylvania state law, The Tipsy Sloth operates as a dry-hire bartending service. We cannot sell, purchase, or provide alcohol. The client supplies all alcohol, and we provide everything else needed for exceptional bar service.

Age Verification: In accordance with Pennsylvania law, our bartenders will strictly refuse service to anyone under 21 or anyone who appears visibly intoxicated. Valid, state-issued photo ID is required for service.

💰 Booking & Payment Timeline

Retainer Fee: A non-refundable 30% retainer fee and a signed digital contract are required to officially reserve your event date. Dates will not be held without a deposit.

Final Balance: The remaining balance is due in full exactly 30 days prior to the event date. Failure to pay on time may result in forfeiture of your retainer and cancellation of services.

Accepted Payment Methods: Zelle, Venmo, or Check.

🌦️ Cancellations, Weather & Rescheduling

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event forfeit the retainer fee but are not charged the remaining balance. Cancellations inside 30 days are non-refundable.

Inclement Weather: For outdoor events, the client must provide a sturdy, covered, waterproof structure for the bar area. We reserve the right to pause service if conditions become unsafe. No refunds are issued due to weather disruptions.

🚗 Travel & Service Radius

Our packages include travel up to 30 miles from Bensalem, PA 19020. Events located outside our standard service area incur a travel fee of $2.00 per mile (round-trip) to cover fuel, vehicle wear, and staff travel time.

Do you provide the alcohol? +
We operate as a "Dry Hire" bartending service in compliance with Pennsylvania liquor law, so we're not able to sell, supply, or transport alcohol. You provide the alcohol for your event, and we provide a custom shopping list based on your guest count and menu selections, plus all the mixers, garnishes, and professional service to make it seamless.
How far do you travel? +
We primarily serve Philadelphia and all of Bucks County, PA. We're happy to travel to nearby counties and areas as well — just ask! Travel fees may apply for events beyond our standard service area.
How many bartenders are included? +
All packages include one professional bartender. Signature Sloth package includes two bartenders. You can add extra bartenders to any package for $50/hour — we recommend one bartender per 50 guests for the best experience.
Do you do weddings? +
Absolutely! Weddings are one of our specialties. We coordinate with your wedding planner and venue, create custom signature cocktail menus, provide beautifully styled bar setups, and ensure your guests are perfectly taken care of from cocktail hour through last call.
Can you make custom drinks? +
Yes! Our Chill Sloth and Signature Sloth packages include custom cocktail creation. We'll work with you before your event to develop a personalized cocktail menu, including a custom signature drink named just for your occasion.
How do I book & what's the deposit? +
